How Most Builders Work — and Why We Don’t
It helps to know how the typical build works. Most builders and remodelers put each part of your project out to bid — framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, and so on — then take the cheapest bid on every trade and keep the difference as their profit. Think about what that really means: your home ends up built by the lowest bidder on every single phase. And the low bid is almost never the best work — quality becomes whatever the cheapest crew felt like giving that week.
We don’t build that way. We handle everything in house, with our own crews, and quality is our top priority — not the spread between bids. When the people building your home work for us and answer to our name, doing it right isn’t a line item. It’s the whole point.
We Build Every Phase — We Don’t Sub It Out
Here’s what really sets a JB’s custom home apart: we don’t hand your house off to a rotating cast of subcontractors. A lot of “builders” are really just project managers who sub out the whole job. We’re not that.
